Scheme of Service

The Ghana Education Service (GES) Scheme of service refers to the career progression roadmap. That is the various ranks or levels that a teacher may attain within the period of service in Ghana Education Service (GES). It also refers to the grades of personnel in Ghana Education Service (GES).

The current scheme of service for Ghana Education Service staff is listed below in descending order.

Ghana Education Service (GES) Conditions of Service are the benefits that you gain by being an employee of Ghana Education Service (GES). The primary benefit of being a GES staff member is your salary. However, teachers receive other benefits in addition to the salary. Conclusion

Teachers can therefore be at the same rank (scheme of service level) but would receive different benefits. Therefore, the only unifying factor between the scheme of service and condition of service is the monthly salary remuneration. Staff at the same rank may even receive different salaries based on their different extra responsibilities.
