Transfer Vacancies in Central Region: Ghana Education Service has opened the window for teachers seeking transfers to apply. This window allows district education directorates with vacancies to issue assurance letters to interested applicants who wish to move to such districts.

However, many teachers visit their preferred districts for assurance letters but only to realize there is no vacancy.

It is for this reason our team keep monitoring various notice boards across the country to provide guidance to teachers about where vacancies exist.

This page is therefore dedicated to districts in the Central Region which advertise any vacancy.

SHS vacancies

SHS: Adankwaman Senior High School

Subject needed: Mathematics and English Language

District: Assin South

District/ Basic vacancies:

District: Kasoa Municipal

Currently, there are two slots for Arabic teachers in Kasoa Municipal. Interested applicants should visit Kasoa Municipal Education Directorate to follow through the process of securing an assurance letter

District: Awutu Senya East Municipality, Kasoa

Subjects: French teachers for the basic school. At least 4

Deadlines for seeking inter-regional and inter/intra-district repostings for 2024

Management brings to the attention of all Regional/Metropolitan or Municipal/District Directors, the commencement of this year’s Inter-Regional and Inter/Intra District repostings.

The issuance of Assurance letters takes effect from Monday, 20th May, 2024 and ends on Wednesday, 19th June, 2024.

Processing of Inter-Regional reposting applications at the Headquarters commences on Monday, 1st July, 2024, to take effect from the beginning of the next academic year (September, 2024).

Completed applications should be forwarded to the GES Headquarters by the various Regional Education Directorates latest by Wednesday, 31st July, 2024.

Please note that documents received after the above deadline would not be accepted.

Also, staff seeking reposting can only be released after the Director-General has approved and issued out a reposting letter to the applicant.
