List of SHS Vacancies in Volta Region 2024, Ghana
SHS vacancies in Volta Region exist for applicants who are already on government payroll. The vacancies are open to qualified teachers who wish to teach in Senior High Technical Schools in the Volta Region of Ghana.
Recruitment into Ghana Education Service is done yearly. Also, teachers seeking transfer to Senior High Technical Schools equally get the chance to be re-posted to Senior High Technical Schools.
Heads of Senior High Technical Schools usually declare vacancies in their various schools annually and forward the it to the district, regional and national offices.
But for the purposes of publication to reach interested applicants, school management normally allow such vacancies to be shared on social media.
Unfortunately, many heads of Senior High Technical Schools do not allow the sharing of vacancies on social media.
The reason why the school heads do not permit their staff to share the vacancies is to avoid gagging from higher authorities for exposing the vacancies that exist in the classroom.
In the end, the classroom teachers are the ones who suffer the effects of inadequate teachers because they have to cover the remaining contact hours that need extra teachers.
It is for this reason that some heads of department in Senior High Schools or classroom teachers in the school share the vacancies that exist in their schools with or without the permission of their heads of schools or heads of department.
Vacancies that originate from Senior High Schools are solely for existing GES staff who wish to seek transfer to such schools. Currently, Schools do not engage in recruitment of new staff in Ghana Education Service. Unlike in the past when heads were involved.
The vacancies declared below in Volta Region are opened to only existing GES staff who are government payroll. Applicants seeking fresh appointments can not apply
