5. Danish State Scholarships for International Students.

Aarhus University offers a limited number of Danish state scholarships for non-EU students. Our scholarships are financed by the Danish state. Aarhus University does not have its own scholarship funds, but rely solely on funding from the Danish state for this purpose.

What does the scholarship include?

The content of a scholarship varies. In some cases, the scholarship is a full or partly tuition waiver. In other cases, the tuition waiver includes a monthly grant towards living expenses, typically but not always for the duration of your Master’s degree programme.

8. Danish State Tuition Fee Waivers and Scholarships for International Students.

limited number of Danish state tuition fee waivers and scholarships are offered for selected master’s programmes to highly talented students who come from countries outside of the EU/EEA and are required to pay tuition fees at Roskilde University.

The tuition fee waivers and scholarships are only distributed once a year for the September entry. The tuition fee waiver and scholarship has a maximum length of 22 months for programmes that start in September. The scholarship amounts to DKK 7,800 per month, and is meant to cover living expenses in Denmark.

Tuition fee waiver and scholarship students must follow the study plan and not be delayed in their studies in order to maintain the tuition fee waiver and scholarship.

Danish universities receive a limited number of government scholarships each year to fund highly qualified full-degree students from non-EU/EEA countries and Switzerland.

In order to be eligible for a scholarship you must be

1. A citizen of a country outside the EU, the European Economic Area or Switzerland

2. Enrolled in a full degree higher education programme

3. Granted a time-limited residence permit in Denmark due to education
