WAEC Distinction award winners
WAEC distinction award winners: The West African Examination Council (WAEC) usually award candidates who perform creditably well. WAEC distinction award winners are simply the program that is organized to award deserving WASSCE candidates.
WAEC presents awards to candidates who emerge as top candidates in the nationwide examination. The examination body organizes the award ceremony every year after every examination.
The WAEC distinction award winners receive several packages from sponsors. They also receive citations and certificates. In addition to bragging rights.
This year’s award winner in Ghana is also the first recipient of the International Excellence Awards. The International Excellence Awards is awarded for the first time in WAEC’s history. The award is given to the best candidate for the whole of WAEC member countries. The member countries are Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and the Gambia. The second-best candidate is also the overall second-best candidate in the region.

The second overall best candidate in Ghana is Benjamin Eyram Nana Kwame Degbey. He is also the second-best candidate in the WAEC region. He attended St. James Seminary SHS, Sunyani

The third best candidate in Ghana is Abena Afriyie Poku, She attended Holy Child SHS, Sunyani.
