G.E.S Released Official Official Promotion Exam Date

The Ghana Education Service has officially released the dates for this year’s promotion exam, according to the official letter written to the regional directors of the service. The official promotion exam date, which is about one month away and, modalities of the index numbers needed was announced for the attention of all short-listed candidates to take note.

The Ghana Education Service is currently battling some number of teachers in court and it is understood a court injunction has been placed on the conduct of the promotion exam this year. However, there is an official release that was signed by the Director (HRMD) to all regional directors of the Ghana Education Service that read:

“The management of the Ghana Education Service wishes to inform all staff due for promotion that the shortlist for applicants eligible to write the aptitude test for ranks Principal Superintendent,  Assistant Director II, Assistant Director I and Deputy Director has been completed.

The proposed date for the aptitude test will be 28th February and 1st March 2023 simultaneously in all regions.

Index numbers, regional centers and all other vital information will be communicated through the regional directorates to all short-listed candidates.

Kindly bring to the notice of all,” the letter concluded

The letter which was signed by Angela Frimpomaa Nkansah (HRMD) on behalf of the Director-General was written on 2nd February 2023.
