Fellow GNAT executives accused Isaac Owusu over NTC deductions from PDA

Fellow GNAT executives across various districts and regions are accusing the national president, Isaac Owusu, for being compromised over NTC’s attempt to deduct money from teachers’ salaries.

The group which calls itself THE FORUM claimed Isaac Owusu had been “sorted” and demanded that he return the gifts or cash.

The group comprised GNAT executives at district and regional levels with large numbers of followers on their various social platforms. Below is their statement.

ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION

Our attention has been drawn to a letter from GES signed by deputy DG (MS) MR.STEPHEN KWAKU OWUSU for DG, directing regional directors to inform all staff.

Intelligent reports reaching THE FORUM indicate that the National President of GNAT (Mr. Isaac Owusu) has been adequately ‘sorted’ and has pledged to be silent on the matter forever to allow NTC to have its way to deduct all teachers in November.

This explains why the ALMIGHTY GNAT is loudly silent on this matter, which has been a thorn in the flesh of teachers for sometime now.

The Forum appreciates this phenomenon and it is prepared to battle it with or without the official support of the ISAAC OWUSU led GNAT.

We are motivated by the teaming support of our members and continue to assure members that all legitimate means have been assessed and will hit the ground running in the coming hours.

We may have to get volunteers from various MMD’s who would act as coordinators for compilation of all aggrieved members for further processing.(We are waiting for advice from our solicitors).

In the meantime, interested volunteers may DM me for further directives.

We are also preparing to hit hard on the government/ Minister on the 5th OCTOBER, 2023 during the World Teachers Day Celebration.

We are at least aware for now that the GNAT President has been compromised to support NTC to cheat teachers, but we say for sure that we as *THE FORUM* will relentlessly battle this untill we see success.
