A philanthropist Needs Assistance To Locate This SHS Student For An Award. Kindly Help.

A philanthropist is seeking the assistance of the general public, especially those in the education sector, to locate a student who was seen on social media demonstrating not just his brilliance but eloquence filled with lots of facts and reality about corruption in Ghana.

The student who was participating in a debate competition was heavy with facts and figures relating to the inconsistencies in national policies and practice. Though the words were only for a school debate competition, the merits of his arguments are all that might have led Ghana to the IMF on all the previous occasions and especially with the new attempt to seek a bailout from the IMF.

A philanthropist, for whatever reason and, having just got to watch the said debate, has launched a manhunt for the debator to offer a gift or award to the young debator for elaborating on the root cause of the country’s fiscal predicament just under a few minutes of his chance to debate.

However, though this kind gesture may just be a nationalistic class action award to the boy, the donation may be deemed politically tainted, especially because of the fact that the announcement of the search was disclosed by Edem Agbana, the National Youth Organiser for National Democratic Congress (NDC) which is the main opposition political party in the country.

As though to indicate a difficulty in locating the boy, Edem Agbana updated his followers on Facebook as ‘a sister and a dependable friend (she wants to be anonymous for now) has offered to give this boy a brand new laptop.’
