The University of Education, Winneba has introduced MPhil Instructional Design and Technology. UEW initiated the program, MPhil Instructional Design and Technology, to enhance the professional development of teachers especially.

Entry Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Education with a CGPA of 2.5 or better from an accredited institution.
2. A good first degree of CGPA of 2.5 or better in any discipline outside Education, plus a PGDE or M.Ed. degree from an accredited institution.
3. Applicant must have adequate skills in computer literacy and competency in Microsoft Office Software and applications.
Job Prospects
Graduates may
1. work in curriculum development institutions such as NaCCA, GTEC, NTC, MOE, etc.
2. work as Instructional Designers/Instructional Technology specialists/ Technology coordinators/ Corporate trainers in sectors such as education, banking, healthcare, security services, etc.
3. take up teaching appointments as tutors at Colleges of Education or assistant lecturers at Universities.
