Regular updates of phone numbers for scammers in Ghana
We will be updating a list of scammers in Ghana regularly. We usually compile the list of phone numbers for scammers in Ghana through the reports of people who have been scammed successfully.
The phone numbers must be reported to the police by the victims to qualify for this list.
We included other scammers who attempted to scam people but they failed or the victim caught them. This category of scammers in Ghana, too, must be reported to the police to qualify for the list.
Expectation from the public
We expect the two obligations from the public. That is;
a. It is our hope that members of the general public will use this page whenever any suspicious phone number contact them for any suspicious transactions.
b. We expect members of the general public to report to us whenever any phone number defraud them.
We encourage victims of scammers in Ghana to equally report such cases to the appropriate authorities like the police and the cyber security authority

Report cyber crime
Members of the general public can report online scammers in Ghana related crime to the Ghana Cyber Security Authority (CSA) though their official website
People can also report scammers in Ghana to the Ghana police whenever they believe a fraudster is operating any scheme. The official website of the Ghana police to lodge complaints is Police.gov.gh
About the CSA
The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) has been established by the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038) to regulate for related matters.
The CSA officially started operations on 1st October 2021; with the appointment of the National Cyber security Advisor in Centre (NCSC) in 2018 as an agency under the then Ministry development of cybersecurity in the country and to provide starting as the National Cyber Security Secretariat (NCSS) cybersecurity activities in the country; to promote the 2017 and later transitioned into the National Cyber Security of Communications and Digitasation.
