5 Habits That Ruin Your Teeth
Human posseses two sets of teeth in our lifetime. The milk teeth which usually erupts for the permanent teeth to take over.
Teeth is something that can not be borrowed from someone and smile matters a lot since its essential in our relationships and also good for our health, we need to take good care of our tooth in order not to hide from smiling.

Some everyday bad habits that damages our tooth are
1. Clenching your jaw, this is also called (Bruxism). this can wear down your gum and teeth overtime.
2. Brushing your teeth too aggressively.
Using bristle which is too hard for your gum or pressing too hard when brushing can also wear out your gums and teeth overtime. It is better to use a lighter hand with soft toothbrush and take time to brush thoroughly.

3. Using tobacco products such as chewing tobacco or cigarettes. These are not only bad for your overall health but also affects your gums and teeth. This puts you at higher risk of periodontal disease. This also causes bad breath, higher tooth decay, oral cancer and also ruin the appearance of your teeth.
4. Sucking thumbs and /or fingers. Children of 5 years and above who sucks their thumbs or fingers can cause misalignment of the teeth which can result in more serious problems as they grow.

5. Chewing ice, hard candy, pens/ pencils or using the teeth to open packages or bottles can be harmful because you can break or chip your teeth.
