How To Sharpen Your Child’s Brain

Lesson 1: Baby Bump Stage

Introduction
To sharpen the brain simply means you are consciously putting an effort into a child’s development such that the child is able to perform task that is a above average performance of child’s peers without mentally abusing the child. Similar to sharpening cutlasses, you would not want to sharpen a cutlass for its mouth to be sharp like that of a blade. The the mouth of the cutlass would break trying to perform it’s task. The same way, the level of sharpening the brain must match the brain and age of the child.

You would be aware unborn babies react to touches by the mother or the any other person or even to positioning of the mother. This ability to react to touches or positioning can be adopted to teach the unborn baby two basic things in life and academics
a) Rythem
b) Choices

a. Rythem.
For the purposes of this lesson and the age of the baby, rythem is just how quick or slow the child could react to touches from the mother or the father.

The parents should make conscious effort to find about three (3) minutes a day to touch the babies in the belly. They should touch the baby, first, at a irregular interval and later at regular interval. In addition, at a point, the touches should be in quick succession and in slow succession at another time.

Doing these touches would definitely become a norm for the child who may even request for it by kicking around the times those touches occur like when dady returns from work. Such babies are likely to identify and apply rythem earlier than their peers after birth

b. Choices
Unborn babies can easily disgrace their mothers when they refuse to kick after the mothers invite their partners to come observe the kicking. This phenomenon may not be the baby made a conscious decision to kick or not at the time the kicking was most needed. However, unborn babies that are used to conscious touches may be making conscious decisions to react to touches by the mother or the partner. Especially when the baby was reactimg to the touches routinely but decided to enough is enough, that may be decision the baby was making

In the practice of this lesson, parent must be very observant of the reactions of the baby to determine how to proceed. When the baby who was responding well to the touches stoped reacting all of a sudden to new touches, parents must stop the play. Also, when a baby is taking longer time to react over few touches the activity should be discontinued. The baby may be asleep or just not in the mood. For effective and efficient interactions, this activity is best performed when the baby has started kicking themselves. Mothers can invite their partners whem they are around.

A partner performing this touching of baby bump routines would definitely add extra love and affection to the home. This touching of bumps may be another reason a responsible make would returned home early no matter what. This play has the tendency to reduce stress in both the mothers and their partners
