UCE 2022 Results Slated For 9th February | Details

The Uganda National Examination Board (UNEC) has scheduled to release the Uganda Certificate of Examination, UCE 2022 results for Thursday 9th February 2023 at state house, Makesero. The function to release the results will start at 11:00am and will be presided over by the Hon. Minister of Education and Sports, Mama Janet K. Museveni. The function will be broadcast and streamed live on a number of TV and radio stations.

A total of 349459 candidates registered for the examination from 4185 centers. The last time the Uganda Certificate of Examination was written was in the year 2020. A total of 333396 candidates registered for the examination. Out of the total number of candidates who registered for this year’s examination, 50.3% were males and 49.7% were females. Other major statistics, like the number of candidates who actually sat for the examination as compared with the number of candidates who registered will be disclosed by the UNEB executive director, Mr. Dan Odongo.

How to access results

Parents, candidates and other interested candidates can only access their results after the official release tomorrow 9th February 2023 through Short Message Service (SMS) on handsets. Parents, candidates or interested parties must send the following message to the number 6600. People must type “UCE, leave space, index numbers” and send them to 6600.

Headteachers and directors can access the results from their portals. They will later be informed about when to start collecting hard copies of the results from UNEB offices.
