There is an alleged communication by unions to teachers that they should not attend any paid Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points workshops for the purposes of building CPD points that would qualify a teacher to renew his or her license.
The question one should ask is what would be the legal evidence or support, even if you have to go to court, to defend yourself on the basis that the unions asked teachers not to Attend paid NTC workshops for the purposes of building NTC points.

The ultimate solution that the unions can provide to teachers is to release an official letter detailing what they expect their members (teachers) to do so that such a directive can be tendered in court when the needs arise

5. The deductions that can be made to this alleged statement by the unions is that, you must build your points from free sources. Therefore, the unions definitely are still in support of the points building and may not come to the aid of any teacher who does not have the requires points when the time for licence renewal arrive
