The government Asked MTN To Reduce Their Talk-Time Further On Customers Recharge.

Probably, the government want more Talk-Time tax when the citizens purchase extra call credit.

Even though MTN has been compelled in the past to reduce the number of minutes allocated for their mashup from 306 minutes to 125 minutes for the same Ghc10, it seems the worse is yet to happen.

The government, through the regulator, has asked MTN to reduce by 80% the talk-time allocated to customers, to 20%.

Customers of MTN Ghana will have to pay more to make the same minutes of call after the Government through the regulator, asked the Telecom service provider to reduce the number of minutes allocated to customers on a “free after 1minute” product from more than one (1) hour talk-time to just ten (10) minutes.
