Collective Bargaining Agreement Review 2023  For Teachers | More Allowances?

Collective bargaining agreement review: The three major teacher unions in the country, Ghana, have given notice to the employer about the need to start the processes towards their collective agreement review regarding their employment. The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) and the Coalition of Concerned Teachers, Ghana (CCT-GH) wrote to the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC) on the 20th January 2023 regarding the review.

The last time the collective agreement was reviewed, it resulted in the introduction of an allowance to teachers called Continues Professional Development Allowance (CPD allowance). It is yet to be known which other allowance could be introduced to aid the work of the teacher.

Below is the details of the letter concerning the collective bargaining agreement review
