Managers of Ashanti Region GNAT hereby informed members that the 10GB internet data plan will be suspended after the September offer for the following reasons.

Though the managers are diplomatic about the reasons for the upcoming suspension of the data plan, it is suspected the suspension is due to the reasons below.

Earlier, the managers of the offer gave out this diplomatic response to a question on why the offer would be suspended:

The suspected reasons for the suspension are:

1. Teachers who are not GNAT members may be applying for the offer using the generic six (6) digit staff number, since the managers may be unable to link the staff IDs to the phone number of applicants.

2. Based on certain types of questions on the telegram platform of the data plan, it is likely members of the general public who are not teachers may be playing tricks on the managers to access the offer, something MTN may not be happy about.

3. Due to the large number of applicants, the managers may be overwhelmed with the process of crediting applicants with their data, especially when it seems the crediting process is manually done.
