Highlights

1. Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) presently has a membership of less than four hundred thousand (400,000)

2. One (1) Telegram Platform can accommodate two hundred thousand members (200,000 members).

3. Therefore, GNAT needs only two (2) Telegram Platforms that can accommodate all GNAT members.

Benefits

1. The huge money spent on sending bulk messages to members through mobile telecom operators can be saved for other activities.

2. Members of GNAT can have access to GNAT information without dilution of the message through the current channel of information through the regions to districts to local executives to school reps to general members.

3. Members can equally send immediate feedback with respect to legitimate questions that need immediate clarification that can not be readily provided by the district secretaries.

Remarks:

1. Though it might seem the district secretaries may feel sidelined, rather, the work of the secretary will be complemented
