WAEC Invites Candidates/ Schools Whose Results Were Withheld For Investigation From 28th To 31st March 2023 | Help alert candidates whose results were withheld
The West African Examination Council usually invites candidates whose results were withheld for investigation after the release of the results of each year’s examination.
Highlights
1. WAEC has released a statement today, 24th March 2023 that it has invited schools and candidates whose results were withheld for investigation.
2. The current phase of the investigation spans the dates 28th to 31st March 2023.
3. Affected candidates from the Central Region of Ghana are required to report to the Cape Coast office branch of WAEC.
4. Affected candidates from the Ahafo region, Bono region and the Boni East region are required to report to the Sunyani office of the institution.
5. Affected candidates have been asked to visit the official website of WAEC at www.waecgh.org and click on “withheld” for further details.

Candidates to assist with investigations into examination irregularities
Candidates who took part in the West African Secondary School Certificate Examination for school candidates, 2022 in the Central and Ahafo/ Bono/ Bono East regions and have had their results withheld for alleged involvement in examination irregularities, are being kindly invited to the Council’s Cape Coast branch office from 28th to 30th March 2023 and Sunyani branch office from 28th to 31st, respectively.
Affected candidates have to visit www.waecgh.org and click on “WITHHELD” button for further details.
The invitation is to assist the council conclude investigations into the alleged irregularities.
Candidates are being informed that their refusal to honour this invitation shall not preclude the council from making a final determination of the case.
