Effective Ways To Take These Common Medications To Work Efficiently  [Nurses Diaries]

We all take medications every day without knowing what we can do to improve the effectiveness of the medications and what we aren’t

Suppose to do or eat to get the best result from the Medication we are taking.

Each drug have a half – life and things that improve or interferes with its effectiveness.

Here are some do’s and dons of some medications that you need to know

Take paracetamol on an empty stomach, it works best that way.

Take antimalarial drugs(Lonart, Lufart, Malar 2) with oily food. It works well that way.

Do not take antihypertensive drugs with tumeric, Viagra. Your BP may become abnormally lowered, and that is dangerous.

Don’t take NSAIDS (Ibuprofen, Diclofenac), on an empty stomach. These medications can cause stomach irrigation leading to ulcer.

Dexamethasone can increase your blood sugar levels. Diabetics should not take it, unless directed by a doctor.

When you are directed to take antibiotics for number of days, do not stop or skip days, even if you feel well.

Do not take antacid with any other medications. There should be at least 30 minutes interval also take it with food or soon after eating for its effectiveness.
