According To Kofi Asare, the Chief Executive Officer of Africa Education Watch (Eduwatch),
1. There are ten (10) million people who are employed in Ghana.
2. One and half (1.5) million people who are unemployed
3. The government employs about ten (10%) percent of the work force.

4. The private sector manages to employ about ninety (90%) percent workers
5. The implications are that, every single unemployed person out of ten of them can only be employed by the government.
6. While the remaining nine people can only find a space in private jobs.
The conclusion, therefore, is that every unemployed person has a greater chance of securing a private sector job than securing a government job and so must psych themselves for such a possibility.
