No one knows all: Teacher happy with lesson taught by 8years old
8am yesterday, some people wanted to buy some yellow corn so they contacted my dad. He had a few bags to sell so he agreed to sell them but it was at a nearby village outside his town, Atebubu, so he asked me to go and watch over them to fill it in the bags since he had travelled.
I went to supervise the filling until everything went successfully. Afterwards, I was supposed to leave but I had to make sure I covered the bags with a thick trampoline to avoid any abrupt rainfall from falling on them because they’d be coming for it today, Thursday.

While covering them, one bag fell down and the rest followed. At the time, the guys were already gone so I was left with the arduous task of raising all the 15 heavy bags of yellow corn
Sha! I was devastated but I managed to do it like that. Afterwards, I successfully covered it and was about to leave when my dad called and asked if I had placed stones on the cover just to avoid the rainstorm from blowing it away or the goats from fidgeting them. When I said no, he pleaded I did that.

When I placed the first stone, everything went down again . I was so angry. I didn’t know who to blame. Tired as I was, I started raising them one by one when a very young boy about age 8 came by to help.
We got them standing again. This time, I could feel my muscles crying within. We covered it and I thanked him and asked to drop him at his home. When I ignited my motorcycle was about to take off, he tapped me and pointed to the corn. They were all on the floor again

You can imagine the feeling. You just imagine. That moment, the only resolution was to leave it like that and go. But the clouds had already shown rain could come anytime.
My friend and I went back to labour. This time, when we raised the first one, the small boy asked me to hold on until he found pebbles to put on both sides of the sack. He did that to all the 15 bags.

We finished and covered it successfully and left for home. This morning, the car went to pick it up. When I asked if they were still standing, the guys replied, “sɛ wo yɛ nyansanii. Aboba no nti ne nyinaa daso gyina hɔ”.
“You’re a wise man. Due to the pebbles, all of them were still standing”.
I don’t know the moral of this story but your help can come from anyone and anywhere.
