3 Major Issues On G.E.S Promotion Application Portal Every Applicants Must Be Aware About.

There are three (3) major general issues on the Ghana Education Service promotion application portal that applicants would not be able to do anything about.

The managers of the portal must therefore be made known and take the necessary remedial action to avoid any possible complications in the future for applicants of this year’s promotion.

1. The first major issue that applicants would easily notice during the application is the inconsistency of the day/month/year category on the calendar provided, since the selected dates of birth do not tally with the categories of day/month/year indications on the electronic form.

2. The second issue on the application is the fact that applicants are asked whether they possess a masters’ qualification, whether they intend to use such a masters’ qualification to qualify for the promotion and yet they are asked not to upload the masters’ certificate if they are not using the masters’ qualification to qualify for the promotion. Interestingly, applicants who indicate having masters without the intent of using it to qualify for the promotion can not complete the promotion application if they do not upload the masters’ certificate that they are asked not to upload if they are not using it as a qualifying certificate.

3. The third issue on the application portal is the inconsistency in the names of applicants after the application is printed. Even though on the portal there is no indication of middle names, after the printing of the application, the middle name portion appears empty.
