10 Foods That Increase Risk Of Developing Fatty Liver Disease [Nurses Diaries]

Fatty liver disease is a condition caused by build up of fat in the liver. There are two types of fatty liver disease, Alcoholic Induced fatty liver disease which occurs as a result of excess alcohol consumption and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease which occurs even if you have never tasted alcohol before.

The liver is one of the largest organ in body with important functions in the body such as

Helps the body to get rid of toxins, stores minerals and vitamins and release them into the bloodstream when the body needs them, helps to metabolize protein, fat and carbohydrates, regulates blood sugar in the body.

The liver needs to be taken care of since each one have just one liver, and it’s very difficult to transplant a liver even if one can afford to do so.
