Below is the summary of National Teaching Council’s, NTC information from online dialogue series held today as part of the quarterly engagement with stakeholders.
👉🏽 CPD Points accumulation has been reviewed to 20 Points every year, irrespective of the rank you are.
👉🏽 BREAKDOWN
*A.* 12 Points, thus 60% of 20 Points will come from GES on PLCs & from National CPD Days. So that will be:
4 points= 1st Term
4 points= 2nd Term
4 points 3rd Term
*TOTAL 12 Points* a year
*B.* 8 Points, thus 40% of 20 Points will come from Accredited Service Providers (Recommend or Rank-Based Courses)
👉🏽 Already accrued CPD Points will be carried forward, but will not be taken off.

👉🏽 All teachers whose CPD Points are genuinely missing from their portals should provide these details to NTC via their email: *[it@ntc.gov.gh]* for onward processes

✓ Service Provider’s Name
✓ Date Attended
NOTE: If you know you didn’t attend a course but have been given CPD Points, please stay tuned, those points will be taken off.
