Strike Set To Resume, According To NAGRAT President. Labour Commission Prepares An Antidote

1. The NAGRAT President disclosed that per the court order, the strike is called off though the order is sucured in absentia. Meaning the teachers unions were not in court to defend themselves
2. He also mentioned contrary to assertions that the union leaders were not willing to call off the strike, the leaders were trying to touch base with their members bedore taking a decision.
3. Angel Carbonu disclosed that the strike could resume after the ten (10) days of the injunction, where the unions will have to be represented in court if the National Labour Commission decides to go to court again according to the court decision
4. The Chairman of the National Labour Commission on the Citi Eyewitness News that the commission could take over the negotiations if the two parties, government and teachers unions, could not reach an agreement to forestall the situations going or if it feels one side of the party is frustrating the process

5. The Chairman of NLC mentioned that it could pronounce judgement on the case through summary judgment or through arbitration. But who will such a decision favour?
