3. MTN in a text message is informing customers of their new way of recouping their loaned airtime to people who may have even abandoned such sims.

4. The text message from MTN read:
“Dear Valued Customer, kindly be informed that effective 6th December 2022, bundle purchases using MTN MoMo will be used to recover outstanding MTN Xtratime amounts in addition to the current airtime reloads where applicable. Thank You.”
5. The question then is how long it will take for similar actions to be taken against those who abandoned their sims due to the quick mobile money loans they have taken. Is it a matter of time or a bad debt in such cases as quick-loan?
