SHS1 To Reopen In June, GES Directs SHS

The Ghana Education Service has directed the first years of Senior High Schools, SHS1 to reopen in June. The directive was given by the Director-General of the service to regional directors to ensure the decision is carried out. The directive was released on 3rd April 2023.

The students were scheduled to vacate school on Thursday 6th April 2023. They were also scheduled to resume on 17th April 2023. The date of the new directive has created a question in the minds of the general public regarding the reason for the late notice to the schools.
