Reopening Date Released By Ghana Education Service

1. Management of the Ghana Education Service has finally released the reopening date for the first term of basic schools and first semester of Senior High Schools respectively.

2. Students and teachers were mostly asked to be observing the media airwaves for information regarding the reopening dates since the date could not be confirmed at the end of last term and last semester respectively

3. In a statement released by the Ghana Education Service and posted the official verified Facebook account of the service, which announced the reopening dates, it stated:

Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform students, staff, parents and the general public that due to the statutory holiday on Monday 9th January 2023, the Senior High Schools are expected to reopen on Tuesday 10th January, 2023.

Heads of basic schools are to note that the reopening date for Primary and Junior High Schools remain 10th January 2023.

Students, staff and the general public are to take note, the statement which was signed by Cassandra Twum Ampofo, head of Public Relations Unit concluded.
