Comparism Of G.E.S Promotions Results Pass Rate From 2018 To 2022

Overall Pass Rate

Out of a total 33,800 teachers who attended interviews for promotions to the ranks of Deputy Director, Assistant Director I, Assistant Director II and Principal Superintendent, only 22,279 candidates passed. The number of successful candidates represent 66%.

In total, 39,918 candidates took the promotion aptitude for all ranks that was released in April 2022 where 26,954 candidates passed representing 67.5% pass rate for all the ranks who sat for the test.

While 61.% of all ranks who sat for the test passed in the year 2020 passed, 63.3% of all ranks passed the exam in the June 2021 results.

Deputy Director

For candidates who went for deputy director promotion 65.8%, 59.2%, 48.8% and 57% passed in the results released in the years 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2018 respectively

Assistant Director I

62.8%, 65.7%, 66.5% and 71% of candidates passed the Assistant Director I promotions for the years 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022 results respectively

Assistant Director II

65.8%, 63.8%, 59.5% and 64.07% of candidates equally passed to the grade of Assistant Director II for the years 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2018 respectively

Principal Superintendent

Also, 68.79%, 69.6%, 55.5% and 69% of candidates who sat for the Principal Superintendent aptitude passed during the 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022 years respectively.
