G.E.S To Teachers: Submit All Outstanding Issues of Salary Adjustment/ Placement On The Right Scale By 30th December.

1. The Ghana Education Service headquarter, in an attempt to solve one of the most important issues confronting teachers, has asked all regional directors to submit details of all outstanding issues of salary adjustment and allowances to the headquarter by 30th December, 2022.

2. Though it is unclear what is necessitating this late move, it is all the same important and welcoming to teachers.

3. The outstanding issues as stipulated by the circular are:

a. Upgrading or salary adjustment

b. Transfer grant

c. Responsibility allowance

d. Junior rank promotion (Teaching and non-teaching)

4. The circular from the G.E.S headquarters read:

Management of Ghana Education Service entreats all Regional Directors to kindly re-submit to Ag. Director, HRMD, soft copies, of all outstanding salary/ allowance issues in the region.

5. The letter which was signed by the Ag. Director, HRMD for the Ag. Director-General gave 30th December as the deadline for the submission
