In the past, there were rumours of students threatening teachers who tried to apply examination rules, but the development today, where a school has to be closed down after students’ riot over an arrest of school staff who were facilitating examination fraud, has proven how deep-rooted examination malpractices are taken as the norm.
In a revelation on the Facebook wall of a major stakeholder in the education sector in Ghana, he disclosed that: “Bolga Technical Institute closed after students riot in response to BNI officials arresting staff for exam fraud, solving, transmitting questions on whatsapp for students to copy. The principal deserves an award. This is rare in Ghana.”
