Genital warts are small growths that develops around the genitals or anus. Genital warts are common sexually transmitted infection caused by a virus called human papilloma virus. It can be transmitted through vaginal and anal sex.

Genital warts affects the moist tissues of the genital area. It looks like flesh coloured bump or cauliflower.
Genital warts is one of the common sexually transmitted disease.
Risk Factors
1. A weak immune
2. Having multiple sexual partners
3. Unprotected sex
Signs And Symptoms
1. Bleeding during sexual intercourse
2. Itching around the genital area
3. Pain or discomfort at the genital area
4. Flesh – coloured brown or Pink swellings in the genital area
5. A cauliflower – like shape warts the genital
Complications
1. Vulvar cancer
2. Cervical cancer
3. Vaginal cancer
4. Penile cancer
5. Anal cancer
There is a vaccine available to protect one against Human Papilloma Virus , the virus that causes genital warts .
Visit the nearest health care facility and take your vaccine to avoid these complications
