The world Health Organisation has issued a health alert about some four (4) cough syrups that are killing children. Take note of the following details.
The world health organization (WHO) has alerted the world that sixty-six (66) children have died in the Gambia due to four different cough syrups taken by the deceased.
The World Health Organisation noted that the four different cough syrups were manufactures by an Indian firm which was asked to withdraw the product from the market.

The World Health Organisation also noted that the product must have been supplied widely to many countries and thus asked regulatory institutions to step surveillance in their countries to locate and withdraw such cough syrups fro the market.
Maiden Pharmaceuticals, which had failed to provide guarantees about their safety, the WHO added.
The WHO identified the medicines as Promethazine Oral Solution, Kofexmalin Baby Cough Syrup, Makoff Baby Cough Syrup and Magrip N Cold Syrup.
